Long term fostering

Longterm Fostering

At Epsom Canine Rescue we also offer Long term Fostering, this enables the dog to be in a home with ongoing additional support from the rescue. We desperately need more foster homes and will always look to match a suitable dog with you. We provide any equipment needed, plus any veterinary fees are paid.

We do not look for weekend or short-term foster placements as this can be very disruptive for our dogs.

If you are interested in fostering dogs, please complete our fostering application form.

Below are some of the dogs currently being fostered or under long term care at HQ.

Hello, my names Indie. I came into ECR from the pound and was finding kennel life quite distressing and making me quite anxious. Sadly I've been diagnosed with a heart condition, aortic stenosis and slow heart rate. I am the most affectionate girl and love both people and tennis balls and will let you know when I want to play or get some yummy treats. Due to my condition I will stay in end of life foster at HQ as its possible I could go into heart failure at any time. The lovely people at ECR monitor me 24hrs a day making sure I don't get to excited.

Hi I'm Sophie and I came into rescue as my dad passed away and my mum was too poorly to continue to care for me. I came into rescue with Daisy my sister but sadly she passed away due to old age. I am confident, rushing up to everyone with my whole body wagging and begging for cuddles and you will get nuzzled if you stop stroking me! I am currently in a longterm foster home and have been here three years now with ECR paying all my veterinary expenses, I have been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.
