After much deliberation, it is with sadness that I have to advise that ECR will be formally closing it's doors for intakes with immediate effect. As most of you know I started the rescue in 1992, but due to declining health of a close family member, it has become increasingly apparent to me that I can no longer juggle all of my commitments as efficiently as I need or want to. I want to emphasise, that this will in no way affect any of our palliative care and foster dogs as the charity will continue as we have a number of long term residential dogs so there will be a long run off period. All of our rehomed dogs have lifetime rescue backup and that will still be the case. Obviously we will need to continue to fundraise to cover our ongoing cost, but realise that we now may lose some corporate partnerships which will make it more difficult financially. With this in mind, your continued support is very much appreciated and it would be great to see everyone at all our future events. Finally, I would like to thank everyone that has stood by us for the last 33 years and given all our dogs kind loving homes.
Epsom Canine Rescue was founded in 1992 and registered as a charity in 1995. It's principle role is the rescue and rehoming of unwanted, neglected and stray canines, undertaking veterinary treatment where necessary.
We operate in the Surrey/Sussex/Kent area and undertake all our own homechecks and follow up visits as we know our dogs best and what is the most suitable home for them. We offer our new home the comfort of knowing that they have full lifetime back up and behavioural guidance and support is always on hand, should it be required.
We need your help....
