Our Dogs
As we are a small rescue who offer on going support, we only rehome within a 20 mile radius of Reigate. Please also take the time to read our guidance notes on adopting a rescue dog, so that you know how to prepare and what to expect with your new dog. We would also encourage you to research the breed you are looking for, to ensure they suit your family and lifestyle.
All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered where medically appropriate.
If at any stage of the adoption process an ECR representative, fosterer, homechecker, behaviourist/trainer or any other rescue volunteer are not completely happy with the match for any reason you may be refused adoption and will need to return the dog.
Dogs for Homing
We currently have a number of dog available for rehoming. Please ensure you have read our rehoming policy.
Longterm Foster Dogs
Long term fostering is also available, this is where you foster instead of adopting a dog. We provide any equipment, food, full back-up and support. We also cover all veterinary fees if any are incurred, along with worm and flee medications. If you are interested in fostering our dogs, please complete our Fostering application form. To find out more please visit our long term fostering page by clicking the button below.
Foster Dogs
We desperately need more foster homes, and will always look to match a suitable dog with you. Again we provide any equipment, food, full back-up and support. We also cover all veterinary fees if any are incurred. We do not look for weekend or short-term foster placements, as this can be disruptive to the dogs. If you are interested in fostering our dogs, please complete our Fostering application form.
Special Needs Dogs
When dogs arrive at HQ they are all assessed, they get a thorough check over from our vets and undergo behavioural assessments. Some dogs need ongoing work and treatments before they are ready for rehoming or are looking for 'special' forever homes.
Sponsor a Dog
Sponsoring a dog is a fantastic way of providing ongoing help and support to the rescue. Your ongoing commitment really does make a difference as it provides us with a regular income, which allows us to help even more dogs.
Surrendering Your Dog
Dogs come into us from various sources including private surrender. We are however a small rescue and we do not have our own kennels. Dogs are cared for in our own homes, foster homes and we pay for private boarding kennels. This is all paid for by donations and fundraising, so our resources are limited.
